The goal of the Agency as part of the support to business is to encourage and promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises industry. The Agency will provide professional and expert assistance to businesspersons – entrepreneurs and managers at all stages of business operations, by using own capacities and including external consultants – associates of the City Development Agency or using services of business associations, banks, non-government and other institutions.

It has been planned that services to entrepreneurs (investors) be provided according to "One-stop shop" principle at all stages of business operations including:

Activities directed towards assistance in the start-up

Assistance in drafting business plan,
Providing services in identifying target market and target users, and assistance in drafting marketing plan,
Providing information on legal framework of business operations and registration of legal entities,
Providing information on available sources of funding,
Providing information on the possibilities of establishing contacts with business partners from neighbouring countries and from wider region,
Providing information on agencies and institutions which provide additional services.

Support to the existing registered enterprises and entrepreneurs

Assistance in drafting new and updating existing business and marketing plans,
Financial engineering,
Promotion of SMEs and allowing their participation at fairs,
Providing assistance in developing new markets, mediation and establishing relationships with business partners,
Mediation in relationships with institutions at all levels of authority,
Assistance in introducing new technologies and transfer of knowledge,
Support to appearance at EU markets.

These services of the City Development Agency are directed towards the reduction in risk at start-up stage and the increase in company management quality by ensuring expert and professional assistance to entrepreneurs (investors) at all business stages. With the aim of providing the services in a quality manner the Agency will engage certain institutions qualified for the above-mentioned services.
